AVOCADO AND RASPBERRY SHAKE

Ingredients

½ ripe avocado, pipped and peeled (can be used in all recipes to replace bananas)

100g frozen raspberries

100g extra-thick Greek yoghurt

squeeze of lemon juice

½ cup ice blocks

Method:

Combine all ingredients and blend/food processor

CHOCOLATE FAT SHAKE

Ingredients:

150ml full-cream milk/or coconut milk

50g butter

50ml cream

200ml coconut cream

1 tablespoon cacao powder or 80g chunk chocolate

¼ teaspoon salt

Method:

Hot version warm all ingredients and then blitz with a blender stick

For cold version: blitz immediately

CHOCOLATE MILKSHAKE

Ingredients:

1 cup raw almonds, walnuts, macadamia or coconut milk

4 cups of water

4 – 6 dates

¼ cup raw cacao powder

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

2 bananas, optional for thickness

1 tablespoon raw macadamia/almond butter

Method:

Place the almonds/other nuts and water into a blender and blend for 20 seconds. Pour through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth , reserving the milk. Rinse the blender and pour milk back in.

Add the remaining ingredients to the milk and blend for 20 seconds or until everything is well incorporated and blended smooth. Taste and adjust flavour.

Serve immediately

Alter recipes by changing nuts, spices, sweeteners, by adding or substituting bananas, raspberries or even coffee.

COCONUT AND ALMOND FRAPPUCINO

Ingredients:

1 shot espresso

½ cup coconut cream

½ cup full-cream milk / or skip coconut cream and add 1 cup coconut full cream milk

2 tablespoons almond butter

½ cup ice blocks

Method:

Pour all ingredients into a blender

Makes a quick breakfast

DOUBLE CREAM YOGHURT, ALMOND AND STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon almond butter/macadamia nut butter

150ml double cream yoghurt

100g frozen strawberries

10 blocks of ice

Method

Blend all the ingredients with a blender stick
